It is expected that the Internet of Things (IoT) is projected to connect 50 billion devices by 2020. IoT has become more beneficial in numerous domains such as health, electricity, water, heat, communication and trade etc. However, with greater connectivity and ultimate functionality come several important challenges. This research proposal concentrates on providing novel secure and energy efficient solutions to design the wireless powered IoT system.
This project focuses on the algorithm development aspect, including performance evaluation, evaluations, assessments, comparisons. The results observed from this work will be valuable information for mobile operator, wireless equipment vendors, cell phone companies, as well as wireless communication companies.
