Summary

The Internet of things (IoT) promises the billions of the things to communicate to provide services for the development the smart functionalities in the fields such as business, healthcare, power grid and etc. To meet the requirement of handling such massive number of low power devices for communications and computing purpose, a secure and energy efficient platform should be built. For a large-scale and highly distributed IoT system, the significantly emerging security concerns are arising. In addition, as the devices of IoT usually do not have constant power supply, how to provide energy to them and reduce the energy cost should be treated carefully. In this project, the scholarship candidate will dedicate to investigate the solutions for those exigent security and energy efficiency issues for the IoT system.
