Summary

The purpose of the project is to form partnerships between higher education and the world of work and to integrate education and work in university studies. Based on earlier projects and research-based knowledge the project will create new models for developing working life skills in students, for support and guidance in work-integrated studies, for renewal of curricula from the work perspective, and for integrating reserach, development and innovation into studies. The aims of the project are 1) incorporate workplace partnerships into integral part of higher education, 2) strenthen the conncetion between reserach, development and innovation with education, teaching and learning 3) create models of support and guidance in work-integrated learning utilizing technological tools and digitalization, 4) strenhtening students' professional expertise, agency and working life skills including their ethical basis, and acceleration of graduation and transition to work 5) strenthtening the university teachers' competence in work-integrated pedagogy 6) strenghetining collaboration beween univeristies and universities of applied sciences. The project is divided into the following workpackages: reserach-based models supporting work-integrated pedagogy, strentheting students' working life skills, support and guidance in work-integrated pedagogy, the perspective of work in curricula, and research, development and innovation as part of education.
