Our objective is to study the the nature of Dark Matter and Dark Energy, the origin of matter-antimatter asymmetry and the origin of structures in the Universe in extensions of the standard model of particle physics. This work involves a thorough study of all signals of and constraints for the new physics from earthbound laboratories and from astrophysical and cosmological observations. We also develop novel theoretical tools to describe out-of-equilibrium quantum systems, and use them to study the matter-antimatter asymmetry and particle creation in the early universe. We are particularily interested in finding novel connections between different problems, such as dark matter and baryogenesis or the low-energy particle physics and inflation
