In the world of rapid digitalization, collaboration is getting more and more important. Therefore, the knowledge of Computational Sciences should also benefit from the new technologies of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in an win-win alliance. While the impact of AI can provide a major competitive advantage for businesses and even for societal issues, Computational Sciences can provide new and innovative solutions for problem solving.
University of Jyväskylä is organizing an ECCOMAS Thematic Conference entitled “Computational Sciences and AI in Industry (CSAI): new digital technologies for solving future societal and economical challenges” in June 2019. The conference explores the possibilities and challenges of applying Computational Sciences and AI-expert systems in the industrial sector. The conference will include presentations by top experts in the field as well as mini-symposiums and Special Technology Sessions centered around more specific contemporary topics.
