Abstract
This chapter provides an introductory overview of a selection of theoretical models related to the connectivity between education and work. The models are examples of approaches to connectivity examined in this book. They predominantly focus on connectivity through, on the one hand, the facilitation of integrative learning processes and, on the other hand, the design of curricula and learning environments. It is concluded that the starting point of developing connectivity can be either pedagogical or curricular, but in both cases, these perspectives meet each other.
