Abstract

The article describes the technology of data reception and transmission according to the RDS standard. A transceiver model using the GNU Radio software development toolkit has been developed. The transmitter is implemented on the Hack RF One hardware platform. The receiver is implemented on the RTL-SDR (RTL2832u) hardware platform. The idea of using RDS technology in the unlicensed frequency band for commercial use in the field of housing and communal services is proposed.
