Description of the dataset

Description: Our study looked at the development of reading skills in children in grades 1-2 using a digital learning game. The research material contains .csv files compiled from the game log data of the children who participated in the research as well as the results of the assessment tasks integrated into the game. In addition, the material contains the answers to a guardian survey converted into numerical data (.csv), which mapped the children's demographic background data as well as information about the child's literacy development and possible reading difficulties of close relatives. Teachers in the studied classes were also interviewed about the effects of playing and the special education provided in the class. The interviews were transcribed in written form into .odt files.
