Description of the dataset

Description: The data consist of audio-video recordings made in 19 English lessons at four Finnish comprehensive schools during the academic year 2020-2021. In addition, screen recordings were made of the mobile devices used in four of the lessons. Altogether there is ca. 51,5 hours of video data. The participating students were from grades 4 to 9 (age: 10-15 years). Mobile devices were used for learning tasks on each lesson. The study investigates how peer interaction is built and sustained around mobile devices in classroom settings.
