Description of the dataset

DescriptionInterviews of black / brown / poc Finnish rappers (N=33), during 2019--2022.
Both face to face and online.

The semi-structured interview covers the following themes:
- history of Finnish rap
- current stage and future of Finnish rap
- the artists' own experiences with rap and hip hop
- their role models and descriptions of their own music
- (anti)racism in Finland
- identity questions
