Description of the dataset
Description: A multi-diagnostic study of kinetic plasma instabilities in ECR-heated plasma. The campaign included simultaneous measurement of instability induced microwave and bremsstrahlung emissions, charged particle losses from the plasma and variation of the extracted ion beam current. The amplitude and temporal structure (with sub-microsecond resolution) of these signals was measured with varied plasma control parameters, including the power of the plasma heating microwaves, the plasma confining magnetic field structure and the injected neutral gas pressure. Oxygen, helium and krypton plasmas were studied. Experiments were performed during Nov 2020.
