Description of the dataset
Description: PARIS project investigated employees' information sharing on enterprise social media as well as through other organizational communication technologies. Specifically, the project focused on paradoxes and affordances related to information sharing. Data collection involved a longitudinal, 3-wave survey from two global organizations as well as 55 in-depth interviews. The surveys and interviews dealt with organizational communication technology use and their affordances, benefits and drawbacks related to organizational communication technology use, connectivity and well-being issues, as well as employees' work-life boundary management in global work. The project was conducted in 2018–2022 in close collaboration with international collaborators and funded by Academy of Finland.
