Description of the dataset

Description: The dataset contains information on the open access availability of Finnish scholarly publication series that published research in the humanities or social sciences from 2017 to 2021. The series has been ranked on level 1-3 in Publication Forum classification.

The data is based on the Plan S requirements and recommendations for publication venues. (https://www.coalition-s.org/technical-guidance_and_requirements/). The data was collected from publicly available sources between January and August 2023.
