Description of the dataset
Description: Lynch Syndrome, lifestyle habits and biomarkers -study investigates lifestyle habits (physical activity and nutrition) and blood-based biomarkers to understand the their associations with cancer risk. The study includes several datatypes, e.g., self-reported questionnaires and blood samples with further biomarker analysis. High-throughput sequencing has been done to assess cell-free non-coding RNAs. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy has been applied to assess circulating metabolomics. Data collection including questionnaire, blood samples and blood sample analytics continues allowing cancer risk prediction. Clinical data on cancer status is obtained through Finnish Lynch Syndrome Registry.
