Research interests

Developmental cognitive neuroscience including developmental trajectories related to reading difficulties and changes in brain plasticity during childhood. Specifically I have been studying development of auditory and speech perception, reading difficulties and perceptual learning. Understanding the development of speech perception and basic neural mechanisms of learning is important, for example, in creating efficient training tools for children with developmental language disorder and reading problems.
