Summary
FORTHEM -project, coordinated by Unversité de Bourgogne, aims to create an alliance of seven multidisciplinary universities in seven EU-countries, based on existing multi-disciplinary, bilateral and trilateral collaborations and both shared and complementary expertise. By the end of the 3-year project period the proposed alliance plans to implement the following activities:
• set up a structure for the management of the alliance to oversee the quality of activities and to ensuring that the alliance is moving towards joint objectives;
• creat a joint digital academy (short explanation needed: what is joint digital academy!) to facilitate the provision of online courses and staff training modules
• creat a functioning model for knowledge-creating teams and piloted the action
• increase the quality, attractiveness and European dimension of education through pooling of expertise, joint teaching and innovative mobility of students and staff
• considerably increase student and staff mobility (upt tp 30 %) through attractive short-term mobility options for students, virtual & blended mobility and increased staff mobility
• create innovative new forms of outreach activities, involving particularly students in civic activity
