Summary

The project enacts government funded professional development education by advancing the learning and capacity of education staff, and by supporting the enactment of government's education policy reforms by deepening team leaders' team leadership capacity. For this purpose, participants dvelop their understanding about teams and about team processes and activities as part of day care centres and schools.The extent of the education is 8 ECTS and duration 14 months. The contact sessions take place in Jyväskylä and Helsinki. Both groups will include 20 participants (10 early childhood and 10 general education teachers). The education comprises of four contact sessions and it includes pre-assignments, independent and group work on an elearning platform as well as online tutoring. Each participant constructs a personal and team development plan as well as assembles a toolbox of good team practices to enact reforms.
