Tiivistelmä
The AI in eBusiness is a multidisciplinary education cooperation project between selected Finnish and Chinese Higher Education Institutes(HEIs). The project aims at
1. Joint research and doctoral student development. At first stage of the AIineBiz project, we will gather data around business intelligence research topics from large scale companies in China. Partner Xi’an Jiaotong University has contacts with three key companies:
1. Alibaba.com
2. JD.com
3. Tencent, social commerce
Which enables this phase of the project in China. Doctoral students from both Chinese and Finnish universities together with professors will work on academic publications on these topics. Joined and double degree programs between the participating universities will also be explored.
2. Developing joined teaching and curriculum development on AI in eBusiness. Based on research in the AIineBiz-project first year, summer school for doctoral students will be organised during the summer in Finland 2021. In this summer school, professors will pilot teaching based on the research completed in the first year of the project. The summer school pilot courses will be adjusted based on the feedback from Finnish and Chinese doctoral students and then be proposed as parts of the main curricula in the respected universities.
3. Joined collaboration with labour market. The AIineBiz project aims to create research topics on AI in eBusiness together with the companies needs. PhD students will visit companies in China and in Finland in order to open up new ventures for research dialogue. This will enforce the Universities’ capacity in both research and teaching to align with the changing needs of the labour market. Through an active dialogue between HEIs and companies, the HEIs can improve the focus of their curricula to match the needs of the labour market. Rabid development in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation are currently topics which the HEIs need to respond to in order to produce rightly skilled future employees.
4 Research to business The idea is to gather good practises from large eCommerce companies in China, which could be applied in Finnish companies or even into developing new eCommerce entrepreneurship in Finland and in China based on the research results.
