Summary
The impact of the research performed in the universities does not reach it's potential especially with business. There is a severe need for the research institutes to at least double the number of commercialized research results. The KINO projects were initialized in most of the universities in order to develop methods and models to assist universities in this and they were funded by Tekes. KINO-JY selected as a goal to encourage the university personnel to commercialize the reserch, to prepare the university based start-ups for their business and to create IPR policies.
The project continues from the beginning of 2017 in the Innovation Scout -project, also partially funded by Tekes.
