Summary

The goal of the RETU-project (recilience and future orientation) is to develop and promote guidance measures and pedagocical models to support students in the risk of social exclusion. In this project resilience is connected to individual agency and well-being. The future orientation incldudes individual skills to make well-informed plans on future education and employment. The target group consists of those students within upper secondary general education, VET, special education and universities of applied sciences who have a risk of social exclusion, have difficulties in their studies or in transition to labour market. The measures will be developed in co-operation with experts from different sectors. The project takes into account the legislation on student welfare and the local and regional contextual factors.
