Summary
This EAKR project at the Faculty of Information Technology in University of Jyväskylä will realize a preliminary
information ecosystem for personalized sports and wellbeing analytics. The technological basis is information resource
management using cloud and IoT-technologies (Internet-of-Things) and the main application areas are to support
coaching and development of services for active citizens utilizing exercise and well-being analytics to improve the
quality of life. Technological solutions and operational models will serve and boost the development of Jyväskylä as
the center of Finnish sports and well-being. The project supports the Hippos development plan and the rapid increase
in global R&D and business activities in sports and well-being analytics in Central Finland.
