Summary
The purpose of VISIOT project is to test and develop methods for using fifth generation technologies in teaching transversal competences with the new national curriculum. Fifth generation technologies allow us to connect everyday objects into the web (Internet of Things) and use interfaces that are based on brand new virtual and augmented realities. With innovative experimenting and developing, the aim of the project is to find ways for teaching transversal competences to primary school students with both Internet of Things and virtual reality, and to examine the results comprehensively from the viewpoints of transversal competences and developing educational practice.
